Beauty is no longer in the eye of the beholder - it can now be worked out using a simple mathematical formula.
Mathematicians have come up with a way to measure female attractiveness and the sexiness of a woman`s walk using her vital statistics.
According to professors at Cambridge University, the waist-to-hip ratio is a significant factor in determining how sexy a woman is deemed to be and whether she can carry off a catwalk strut.

Women with a waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) near 0.7 - that is with a waist circumference that is 70% of the hip circumference - are apparently rated as most pleasing to the eye.
According to the formula, Fantastic Four actress Jessica Alba clocks up the perfect score with a WHR of exactly 0.7.
Other sexy stars who rated highly include screen siren Marilyn Monroe, who scored an almost perfect 0.69 and supermodel Kate Moss, whose WHR of 0.67 helps give her a sexy catwalk strut.
A huge 70% of men said they preferred the curvier figures of diva Beyonce Knowles and TV presenter Kelly Brook to very-thin physiques like Victoria Beckham.
