As Kevin Federline continues to build his case for custody over his two child, Sean Preston and Jayden James, K-Fed is targeting various people in Britney Spears' life to testify at an upcoming hearing. Kevin Federline's team had already subpoenaed three people close to Britney Spears, and on Saturday, the fourth subpoena was handed out by Team K-Fed.
According to E Online, Mark Vincent Kaplan, the attorney for Kevin Federline, said that "an administrative executive at Promises" was the target of Saturday's subpoena. After shaving her head and exhibiting a spate of erratic behavior, Britney Spears checked herself in to the Promises rehab facility in Malibu, California. Britney stayed at the Promises rehab facility for roughly one month earlier this year. Citing the facility's privacy policy, no one from Promises was made available to talk about the subpoena.
The unnamed Promises person who was subpoenaed adds to the growing list of people who will be called to support Kevin Federline's child custody case against Britney Spears. Kevin Federline and his legal team have already issued subpoenas to Spears' pseudo-cousin Alli Sims, Spears bodyguard Daimon Shippen and Britney's former assistant, Shannon Funk. When called to testify, it is likely that all three will be made to talk about Britney Spears' wild party habits.
While Kevin Federline is issuing subpoenas to people who have seen Britney Spears party, K-Fed claims that he hasn't pulled out the big guns just yet. According to E Online, K-Fed is debating whether or not to call Lynne Spears, the mother of Britney Spears, to testify at the hearing. The source said, "Lynne Spears has stopped short of criticizing Britney in public, choosing instead to support Kevin behind closed doors. But that's become such a sore sport between Brit and her mom."
The source also said that Kevin Federline, "knows the trouble that will cause, so he's trying to avoid it. He doesn't want to put Britney's parents in that position. But if he has to, if it means the difference between getting his kids or not, he'll do whatever it takes." Britney Spears and Kevin Federline officially ended their marriage on July 30, as they signed off on a divorce which gave joint custody of the children to both Britney and Kevin. Since then, Kevin Federline has filed court papers to gain primary physical custody.
